Legendary Texas Club To Re-open

LUBBOCK TX -Elvis once played there and now the legendary Cotton Club in Lubbock will soon open its doors once again. The club, located at 64-10 East U-S 84 will open with a Halloween concert by a local band this Saturday.
The rebuilt venue was constructed after the original burned down in the early 60s. Elvis Presley, Fats Domino and Little Richard are among the greats who performed at the original club more than 50 years ago.
The owner is hoping the club's history will attract the interest of touring and local bands. it won't be completely finished by Halloween but it's a chance to get a sneak peak.
