elvis wieder mal als coverboy der englischen sammlerzeitschrift record collector. im heftinneren gibt es einen 7seitigen artikel zum thema "the man behind the myth" mit einer reportage aus memphis von patrick humphries sowie einem interview mit sonny west, das ken sharp (autor von "writing for the king") geführt hat.
darin gibt es u.a. ein überraschend positives statement sonnys zu colonel parker:
"i think the colonel gets a bad rap. he did what elvis told him to do. for the film a star is born, he's blamed for asking too much money. but elvis told him, 'i've changed my mind colonel, i don't want to do it.' so colonel upped the demands and the press blamed him. the great things the colonel did far outweigh any shortcomings."
