Sandi (author of the book Elvis On Tour '75) is in the hospital at the moment for an undetermined amount of time. She has one blood clot in each leg. The doctors have immobilized her.
She is unable to walk, turn over, sit up, or even get up to use the bathroom. Her condition is currently life threatening.
She is supposed to call us back later tonight when the doctors permit her the use of the phone, and have her in her own room instead of a temporary one. She is still in the E.R. room at Slidell Memorial Hospital.
Please keep Sandi in your thoughts and wish her a speedy recovery.
