Soon to be released – exactly 36 years after it was recorded - is the latest production from “Rainbow Records”.
This release will feature the complete performance of Elvis Presley in Atlanta, Georgia - recorded July 3, 1973.

Again the producers of Rainbow Records have been working for months on this new project,
as “best possible quality” is always what we claim for when releasing an audience-recorded Elvis Presley show.
This time we have found four (4!!) different sources of tapes for Elvis´ higly entertaining show in Atlanta which marked the closing of his June/July 1973-Tour.
As you can imagine, we did our best – spending a total of 7 weeks - to make our new release sound as good as possible!

You can expect Elvis in great mood doing a fine set of songs like the rarely performed
“Memphis Tennessee”, “Something”, Help Me Make It Through The Night” and many others.
Needless to say that the cd-booklet will have its “usual” 20 pages full of rare photos, articles, memorabilia….. .

Das Cover sieht gut aus, die Setlist sieht gut aus, wenn's jetzt noch gut klingt wird's ein Gewinner!

von der show kenn ich bisher nur die nachstehend angeführten fünf songs, die als bonus tracks auf einer memory cd (at the top of the game) drauf waren, da war die soundqualität allerdings alles andere als berauschend:

allerdings lassen diese fünf songs auf eine großartige show schließen, denn unabhängig von der raren live-version von "memphis tennessee" sind auch die teilweise gesprochenen versionen von "what now my love" und "you gave me a mountain" ein hammer ...

ich hoffe jetzt stark, dass die neue rainbow soundmäßig doch um einiges besser ist als die qualität, die man von den bonustracks auf der memory kennt ...

Sie kann nur gut klingen,da die Vorlage auf den CD-Rs schon sehr gut ist.

wenn da wirklich vier (!) verschiedene quellen vorlagen, dann müsste man eigentlich davon ausgehen können, dass hier die ultimative top-version dieser show zusammengebastelt wurde ...

ich leg mir das teil auf jeden fall zu ...

ich freu mich drauf, habe bei den leuten dahinter das gefühl dass die wirklich immer alles in ihrer macht stehende tun um das beste daraus zu machen. wer von haus aus audience tapes ablehnt muss sich erst gar nicht speziell damit befassen meine ich und hat ohnehin genug andere möglichkeiten (soundboards, ftds). offensichtlich dürfte es sich hier jedenfalls (muss sagen ich habe noch keine songs daraus gehört) nach den beschreibungen einiger forumsmitglieder um eine sehr tolle show handeln. schon mal eine gute voraussetzung

Sehr gutes Posting ..die audience recording Fans müssen es kaufen, diejenigen, die an SB`s gewohnt sind, sollten es lassen...sonst fängt das Gejammer wieder an..

Wer jedoch an einer super Show mit toller Atmsosphäre in passabler AR Qualität interessiert ist, ist mir diesem Ding bestens bedient....der Klang ist o.k...Rainbow bürgt mittlerweile auch für Qualität..
