Why Cybill Shepherd dumped Elvis!: Actress Cybill Shepherd has revealed that she dumped her one-time boyfriend Elvis Presley after he tried to make her take prescription drugs. She said in a TV interview: "He once said to me, 'Take these pills' and he had these pills in his hand. I flushed them down the toilet." Moonlighting star Cybill, 59, who dated Elvis in 1973, said after that she returned his emerald and diamond ring.

She also compared Michael Jackson to Elvis, saying: "That level of fame is unsurvivable".

Wenn man die Schauspielerei in 2 doch recht erfolgreichen Serien als out bezeichnen kann, dann hat er natürlich Recht. Genauso wie er natürlich weiss, was Elvis 1973 so alles privat gemacht hat.

Was bedeutet: dumpee und dumper in diesem Zusammenhang?

Ich würde es als Müll/Dreck bezeichnen. So nach dem Motto, Du bist nicht der Müllfahrer, sondern der Müll, der hinten drauf ist.

Ich glaube, dass es dabei eher darum geht, ob Cybill die jenige war, die "Schluss gemacht" hat, oder ob es Elvis war.
