Was mich an dem Teil nur stört, da sind CDs mit teilweise nur 10 Tracks. Und das ganze in einer Reihenfolge, die es in sich hat. Nichts gegen gemischte CDs. Die sind zwar alle nach Themen sortiert, aber einiges Themen zeigen eher Verzweiflung und weniger dahinter steckenden Sinn.

Währen die Songs in chronologischer Reihenfolge, dann wäre die Box vermutlich gar nicht übel. Aber in dieser Form halte ich das Ding für verzichtbar.

Mal schauen, wann (und ob) das Ernstl seine Box herausbringt. Ich bin mir sicher, die Aufnahmen klingen bei ihm besser, das Teil ist chronologisch sortiert und wirklich komplett.

Complete masters

Absolut nicht empfehlenswert. Die Aufbewahrung für die cds inkl. Plattenspieler sind ein netter Gimmick und ein echter eyecatcher, aber die Songauflistungen der cds sind äußerst fragwürdig. Jeder Fan hat seine eigenen Vorlieben bzgl. Compilations und hat bzw. wird sich seine eigenen Lieblingssongs Themorientiert (Love, Heartaches, Country etc. etc.) zusammenstellen. Unverzichtbar selbstredend die Liveaufnahmen, aber diese sind bei der Box nicht unbedingt vollständig und lieblos "vereint" (In Person + On Stage auf einer disc - ohne Bonsussongs). Ärgerlich ebenso, daß doch viele highlights fehlen. Auch das Desing für die cds an sich bzw. deren cases ist eher zweitklassig. Auch wenn die Soundqualität dem neuesten Standard entspricht, keine Kaufempfehlung, vor allem für diesen Preis. Das warten lohnt sich auf die Masterbox von Ernt J. Hierzu wäre eine Neuauflage der 50 Original Album Collection mit den hierbei fehlenden Singleauskoppelungen die einzig wahre Alternative.
