Next Saturday and Sunday: Elvis weekend on BBC2.





The British TV Channel BBC2 will start 2010 and the celebration of Elvis' 75th birthday in a great way.

On January 2 and 3, the whole evening is filled with Elvis concerts and documentaries. The largest part of the broadcasts is already known by the die-hard fans, but it is great to see that the British national TV will spend two whole evenings on airing Elvis specials.

On Sunday January 2 at 8pm, there will be a brand new docu that is produced by the BBC, called 'Elvis In Vegas'.

The docu is trying to find out how Elvis made it to Vegas.

Damend, where can I see this? I don´t have a satellite TV...them german Mothers could do a programm like this too...those sneaky sons...

also ich kann unter http://www.bbc.co.uk/tv/guide/list/2009-01-02 nichts über Elvis finden. in den folgenden Tagen nur auf bbc4, aber das scheint nochmal was extra zu sein

angeblich soll man über Astra 2D BBC2 empfangen können, vielleicht kann ja mal jemand die Frequenzeinstellungen posten

Nun,
ELVIS BY THE PRESLEY`S, ALOHA FROM HAWAII oder auch THE 68`COMEBACK SPECIAL sind ja nicht ganz neu und insofern nicht der Tränen wert, es (auf BBC2) nicht empfangen haben zu können.

Und selbst für die "brand new docu" ELVIS IN VEGAS existiert bereits ein DVD(-R)-Cover:

`Weiß nicht, wie andere Leute das handhaben. Wenn ich jedenfalls bislang ein Cover erstellte, gab es auch eine DVD-R dazu.
