    About August 26, 1969

There is one more song on the album "The Return Of The Tigerman - volume 3" then on "All Shook Up".

On The Return the closing song is What'd I Say (with an excerpt of Polk Salad Annie.
And on All Shook Up the closing song is Suspicious Minds.

I've read an interview with Ernst Jorgenson (the producer of All Shook up) and he says there's nothing cut from the concert.
So I kept wondering is What'd I Say mixed in on the bootleg?
Can anyone give me some information about this.
Maybe what is the recording date of What'd I Say.

Laut Ernst is der 26.8. komplett auf der All Shook Up.

The date on the back is right. This is the concert from august 6th.
But this CD is Return Of The Tigerman - volume 1.

The CD I meant is Return Of The Tigerman - volume 3.
But the following CD has the same content:

The Date on the cover is wrong, it is the concert from august 26th MS.

I don't think that the date on the cover of this cdr is wrong. It's not the show from august 26th, ms because:
                1. Are You Lonesome Tonight on this cdr is not the "laughing version"
                2. There're some more differences between the setlists of the cdr and the ftd, like My Babe, Rubberneckin', This Is The Story

In general everything has been said by Charro already.

It looks like there's a little confusion, because you have quoted a CDR by the title The Return Of The Tigerman - volume 3. Someone has mixed it up with nearly the same title. But they are different. While The Return Of The Tigerman is a real bootleg cd, the other one ("volume 3") is something like a fan-project on CDR.

You were referring to the closing of this particular cdr, which contains What'd I Say and this tiny excerpt of Polk Salad Annie. The explanation should be very simple: Both titles were taken from another concert - the midnight show of August 25th, 1969 (which was released on the import cd/cdr In Dreams Of Yesterday).

Obviously because of the missing ending of the midnight show of 08/26/69 someone took these songs and attached them to this recording to make it more complete. This led to confusion in the past.

Since Ernst came up with his infos and the release of the FTD All Shook Up it is a good guess to asssume, that there was no What'd I Say performed in the midnight show of Aug 26th, 1969.
Only a more complete audience recording of that show could make us know better, but I don't believe that this will ever happen.

The first thing you should do ist: Compare your AR of both M/S (25th & 26th) and you'll find out that What'd I Say is exactly the same recording on both.

PS: And Camel80 is absolutely right about the cd/cdr In Dreams Of Yesterday.

Thank you, everybody for the information.

You were all right about the In Dreams Of Yesterday CD... Sorry...
What you said was what I already thought. That the bootlegger mixed the two last tracks in the concert.

Thanks again for all the information.
