Was the 1970 album 'On Stage' supposed to have 4 extra tracks? One would think so, now that an original acetate of this record has shown up on eBay, with 4 extra tracks.
It is not clear why these tracks didn't make the album, nor why exactly these titles were picked.
From the item description:
"The word "rare" gets used a lot when people are selling Elvis items, but I think this one qualifies.
It is a metal acetate for Elvis "On Stage" album. This particular acetate however has 4 tracks that were not released on the final version of the LP.
The photos are hard to read so the unreleased tracks are as follows:
"Polk Salad Annie" alternate take
"I Got A Woman"
"Kentucky Rain"
"Don't Cry Daddy"

There were not many acetates made and even fewer survived. This is the first piece in a huge 30 year collection to go on the block."
