Although earlier this year an announcement was made regarding new Gold and Platinum Awards no upgrades were presented during ElvisWeek 2008. A search in the RIAA database resulted in a Gold and Platinum certification for one Elvis title "Elvis Lives" (listed as "various artists"). This DVD was awarded Gold and Platinum on August 7th, 2008.
