Nein? Vielleicht nicht direkt, was irgendeine "Erlaubnis" angeht, aber immerhin steht was drin:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Remix album shines new light on Elvis Presley songs London, May 16th, 2008ELVIS PRESLEY "RE:VERSIONS" REMIX ALBUM RELEASE ON MAY 26TH Recognized worldwide as one of the most influential figures in music and pop culture, Elvis Presley is today on the verge of another career milestone. Forty years after the famous ’68 comeback the long awaited full lenght remix album called RE:VERSIONS will be released: it is the first historical Elvis Presley’s remix album. The album includes eleven songs remixed by contemporary DJ/producer Spankox who recently got Elvis back at the top of the charts with his remix “Baby Let’s Play House”, also included in the album. Due in Italy and Japan on May 26th, releases will follow worldwide, promoted by Everness and Elvis Presley Enterprises. The enhanced CD also contains as bonus the official videoclip of the song Baby Let’s Play House (Spankox Re:Version). A special limited edition of the album, featuring a high quality cardboard cover, a 24 pages booklet and a specially printed PVC case will also be issued. The album, already highly talked-about, is opened by the Baby Let’s Play House remix that has been sitting at the top of the Italian single sales chart for seven weeks. This remix is already in the Top 20 in Scandinavia and is one of the hottest tracks at the moment all over Europe: it has also been tapped as the soundtrack to the Comet Awards 2008 TV trailer that began airing in Germany on May 5th. Since April, the track is aired several times a day, directly from the Graceland Plaza, on the Elvis Channel on Sirius radio in the USA. This CD album is actually much more than a remix album: all the songs have been carefully reworked and rearranged using the latest technology but keeping intact the original feel of Elvis’ music. The result is an unprecedented approach to the music of The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll: it’s “Elvis as you’ve never heard him before”. The RE:VERSIONS album will deliver Elvis to a new generation of music fans in an unexpected, cool and compelling way but will also allow the old generation fans to rediscover Elvis under a new light. Spankox (his real name is Agostino Carollo) is a Verona (Italy) based progressive DJ/producer/composer who most recently wrote and produced the club classic “To The Club” and has produced and remixed tracks for Roxette, Snap! and Vasco Rossi (Italy’s n.1 rockstar) among the others. This release of his treatment to Elvis music marks the first time in history that a Presley album of songs that have been remixed by a contemporary DJ/artist will be mass marketed. Starting from analog 2” tape copies of old original master tapes Spankox has created a new and unique soundscape for Elvis, somewhere inspired also by the recent Beatles “Love” album produced by George Martin: for example, you might spot some parts of a song playing in another and viceversa. The release of this album, which will also be available as an exclusive iTunes download, has been much anticipated. ELVIS PRESLEY VS SPANKOX “RE:VERSIONS” TRACKLISTING:

Einiges, wie Just Because gefällt mir nicht. |
