Here are the Message from a british Fan Club:

                    Memphis, TN

An extremely rare tape of Elvis Presley singing with the Beatlesis rocking the world of rock music today.
The old tape was discovered by a cleaning crew at Graceland behind a toilet on the estate.

The tape includes three songs made during an all night jam session between the King and the Beatles.

The tape dates from August of 1964 when the Beatles were at their most popular.
The Beatles were touring America at the time and they were all very avid Elvis fans.

The Beatles manager Brian Epstein arranged a meeting at Graceland on a steamy August night.
No photographs were ever taken and it was always assumed no music was ever played.
Neither Elvis nor the Beatles ever spoke about the meeting with anyone.

Every rock fan who listens to the tape will be extremely disappointed. Elvis and the Fab Four didn't sing 'Yesterday' or 'Jailhouse Rock'.
They didn't sing any rock classics at all. The most famous names in rock history decided to sing show-tunes from the musical 'West Side Story' instead.

The incredibly revolting recording features Elvis and John Lennon singing a very gay version of 'Somewhere'.
Another song has Ringo singing 'I Feel Pretty' acapella.
Ringo is singing off-key as usual.
The third recording has the King of Rock and Roll and the lads from Liverpoolsinging 'I Just Met A Girl Named Maria' together.
Those who have heard the tape say it is the worst music ever recorded.

Apparently, Elvis and the Beatles realized how awful they sounded and never told anyone about the terrible recording.
If the tape had been released in 1964 it would have destroyed all their careers.

The rock legends developed an intense dislike for each other and never spoke again.

The tape is owned by the Presley estate and should be in stores just in time for Christmas

like elvis must really have felt when he heard that the beatles and play for 55,000 people before he was lost in the harem? was at the time when he scored on tv?

If Elvis had insisted on going on tour he could have done so. Nobody kept him from playing stadium gigs, but himself.

By the way: I am one of the very few here who agree with the thought, that Elvis wasn't the great guy a lot of folks made him look like. Especially in the later years, I don't think that I would have liked him too much (I simply cannot enjoy myself in company of armed junkies :traurig:).
