For The Good Times ist auch ziemlich traurig. That's a pretty song ...".
Der gute Rusty. Ein Starting Today-Liebhaber. Vom Feinsten.

"For the good Times" finde ich übrigens auch sehr schön!Only the strong surviveKommentar

...hmmm

Natürlich, was auch sonst?Kommentar

Kommentar

meine favoriten sind die hier;
ANGEL
Angel, with those angel eyes
Come and take this earth boy
Up to paradise
Angel, may I hold you tight?
Never kissed an angel
Let me kiss one tonight
If I said "I love you"
Would I be speaking out of turn?
I'm only human, but I'm willing to learn
Angel, make my wish come true
Let me be in heaven here on earth with you
Angel, never kissed an angel
Let me kiss one tonight
If I said "I love you"
Would I be speaking out of turn?
I'm only human, but I'm willing to learn
Angel, make my wish come true
Let me be in heaven here on earth with you
Angel, Angel
CRYING IN THE CHAPEL
You saw me crying in the chapel.
The tears I shed were tears of joy
I know the meaning of contentment
Now I am happy with the Lord
Just a plain and simple chapel
Where humble people go to pray
I pray the Lord that I'll grow stronger
As I live from day to day
I've searched and I've searched
But I couldn't find
No way on earth
To gain peace of mind
Now I'm happy in the chapel
Where people are of one accord
We gather in the chapel
Just to sing and praise the Lord
Ev'ry sinner looks for something
That will put his heart at ease
There is only one true answer
He must get down on his knees
Meet your neighbor in the chapel
Join with him in tears of joy
You'll know the meaning of contentment
Then you'll be happy with the Lord
You'll search and you'll search
But you'll never find
No way on earth
To gain peace of mind
Take your troubles to the chapel
Get down on your knees and pray
Your burdens will be lighter
And you'll surely find the wayElvis Aron PresleyKommentar

..einer meiner vielen´"Favoriten"....
Lonely Man
It's a lonely man
who wanders all around
It's a lonely man
who roams from town to town
searchin', always searchin'
for something he can't find
Hopin' , always hopin'
that some day fate will be kind.
It's a lonely man
who travels all alone
when he has no one
that he can call his own.
Always so unhappy
taking shelter where he can
here I am
come, meet a lonely, lonely man.
Always so unhappy
taking shelter where he can
here I am
come and meet a lonely, lonely man.
Here I am
come and meet a lonely, lonely man.Kommentar

the sound of your cry habe ich auf der beerdigung meiner mutter gespielt und finde den song unglaublich plastisch....man kann sich die szene die er besingt quasi vorstellen...the clock by the bed is ticking.....und wie er sich dann hereinsteigert....da hätte ich gern mal outtakes von....Das neue Buch von Praytome Publishing:

Also zwei die mir gerade einfallen wären:
1. Never again
I hope I never ever love anyone this much again
I can't take it anymore, I've been hurt before
Never ever quite like this time
What will become of me when you're no longer here
If I can't stop loving you, what am I to do
You'll be free but where will I be
Now that I'm used to love, how can I stand alone
Now that love has come and gone, like the ending of a song
A song my lonely heart keeps singing
Where do I go from here, will I get over you
If so, next time I'll be smart, I'll know before I start
A heart that don't care, don't get broken
I hope I never ever love anyone this much again
Never ever, never again
Never again
2. You'll never walk alone
When you walk through a storm hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never walk alone.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never walk alone.
