Despite big plans of recreating the Train Ride that GI Presley took when he first set foot on European ground, the train has now been cancelled. The initial idea was to do the historical train ride over between Bremerhaven and Friedberg, with local (German)celebrities. Bremerhaven is the city where Elvis arrived on October 1st 1958 on the USS Randall, and Friedberg is where the Ray Barracks are located, also the last stop for the train. On a brighter note: the Caprico Club will be opened for visitors late August, September and October.
