    Here is the 17th volume (of twenty) of the collection by the local newspaper in Catalonia (Spain) "La Vanguardia".



    This time the turn is for “Elvis´ Gold Records Vol.4" remastered by BMG in September 1997 (RCA-67465-2). The CD keeps tracklisting from original album released in jan 1968 (LSP-3921) and 6 bonus tracks previous released:

      does the mastering mean that these releases were especially REmastered?
      or do they *just* mention the name of the guy who did the mastering few years ago

      by the way:
      what was exactly the business (job) of Mike Omansky at Sony/BMG?

        Omansky's experience includes two terms of employment at Bertelsmann Music Group, 1984-1990 and 1995-2001. In the second stint, he served as Senior Vice President, Strategic Marketing, running a worldwide profit center of reissues and catalog, as well as overseeing licensing and special projects. Most recently, he was President of Worldwide Entertainment Marketing, Inc., consulting for music, home video, and consumer packaged goods companies. Past projects have included: the international launch of the "Dirty Dancing" albums; marketing of fitness videos (including Denise Austin and Tony Little); the global repositioning of the Elvis Presley franchise at BMG; and over 50 personal appearances on QVC. Prior to entering the entertainment industry, Mike worked in consumer packaged goods for General Foods and Nabisco Brands, following an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvani
